Nestled in the serene outskirts of Oberharmersbach, Gasthaus Zur Linde offers a tranquil retreat amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Black Forest region. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the gracious hosts and shown to our spacious room in a separate house, providing a peaceful stay away from the bustling city life.The room, while a tad vintage in decor, was impeccably clean and well-equipped, boasting modern amenities including a fully functional kitchen with brand new appliances. The abundance of space, coupled with two bathrooms, was a delightful surprise for our family, adding a touch of convenience to our relaxing holiday.One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious buffet breakfast served daily at the charming restaurant, where we also indulged in savory German cuisine in the evenings. The terrace provided a lovely spot to unwind with a drink, overlooking the picturesque garden and surrounding countryside.For outdoor enthusiasts, the proximity to cycling routes and activities in the area allowed us to explore the natural wonders of the Schwartzwald with ease. The free private parking and children's playground on-site added to the overall convenience and family-friendly atmosphere of the inn.With Strasbourg International Airport a short drive away, and other notable landmarks within reach, Gasthaus Zur Linde offers a perfect base for those seeking a blend of comfort, tranquility, and exploration in the heart of the Black Forest.
